KOTAK BAND

KOTAK formed on 27 September 2004 in the show The Dream Band. KOTAK reunited since the audition The Dream Band in Jakarta. Producer (Dody-Jasmine Trias) auditioning drummer, guitarist, bassist, vocalist of the city of Jakarta, the lead singer of the 400 participants into two people, a bassist to 2 170 people, hundreds of guitarists to 3 people, hundreds of drummer also be 2 men and from 9 people pass the audition, the band formed two personnel who KOTAK 4, and Five of personnel 5 people.

. Formation band KOTAK when it's not like they are today. The box formation the band was first filled by Cella (guitar), Ices (bass), Pare (vocals), and Posan (drums).
In 2007, Ices and Pare was decided to leave the band. The vacant position was replaced by Tantric on the vocal and Chua on bass. They then released his second album titled "The KOTAK" in 2009.

Post out of the group Kotak, Posan seemed to be comfortable with his new band, Winner. Although the color of music Kotak and Winner almost the same, but the musical arrangement of each different..Winner and Kotak berbeda aransemennya.   There are tools in  Winner that does not exist in Kotak, but nearly 70 percent of the music the same color.,Although the music Kotak and Winner have similarities, but Posan did not want to take over the fans Kotak to move to follow in his footsteps.

Although without a drummer Posan, KOTAK band famous with his song in Action is still making a video clip of Energy third single album titled Love Do not Let Go. Although the song's creation posan the drummer, the clip is made with 3D concepts and involve more than 100 relatives of the box (the name for the fan box).

According to Tantri, now all three live box. Besides himself there Chua and Cella. To fill the position Posan did not get a box of new drummer. So for the benefit gig, Box brings guest drummer. Although left Posan, Box remain the way. There are no plans to change the name. The box will still survive and work.

"We can not hinder Posan plan. He did have a personal project. Nothing could be prevented if he wanted to create a new band. So far we have no problem with Posan. He pulled out his own wishes, rather than dismissed," said tantri 

although KOTAK not have a replacement drummer POSAN but the box can still entertain the KERABAT KOTAK and still present in the Indonesian music scene
